My mind has gone to sleep, but my heart is awakened by the sights and sounds of faith fulfilled in lovely simplicity… life together in the Lord. It rejoices me greatly to have found the blog from which these photos were taken. This is the practice of ikonography in the community of Holy Epiphany church in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Yes, Indonesia is the largest Muslim majority country on earth and, yes, there is Holy Church secretly yeasted within its midst. May God preserve them!

Where there is no love, there is no Church. There remains only its external form, a deceit, which repulses people. That is why our churches remain empty, that is why our young people lapse. Lord, help us to become Your Church, not just its appearance.
